Fellowship Coffee Committee
Mary Jane and George Neumann
The Fellowship Coffee Hour is held several times during the year, usually on the fourth Sunday of the month, after the 9:00 a.m. and the 10:30 a.m. Masses, in the chapel auditorium. The Fellowship Team serves coffee, tea, juice, donuts, and bagels.
The Fellowship Coffee Hour provides an ideal opportunity to come together to renew existing relationships and to form new ones. A special invitation is extended to new parishioners who would like to get better acquainted with the Saint James community.
Volunteers are needed to set up, greet people, serve the food and beverages, and clean up. Confirmation candidates, Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts, and junior high and high school students are welcome to help out and earn service hours in the process.
First Friday Fellowship
Margaret and Bill Cronin
Get to know your “Mass Buddies,” the nameless folks you recognize by sight because you see them at daily Mass. Parishioners and visitors are welcome to enjoy fellowship with homemade breakfast pastries and coffee or tea on the First Friday of each month, after the 8:00 a.m. Mass, in the chapel auditorium.
Parish Golf Outing
Deacon Tom Klaas
The annual golf outing is a fun, social event for parishioners that also promotes Christian community. Men and women of all ages are welcome. There are prizes, raffles and wonderful silent auction items. Although it is technically not a fundraiser, any profit realized from the golf outing supports the activities of the Youth Ministry.

Top of the Hill Gang
Founded in 2004, the Top of the Hill Gang offers an opportunity for men ages 65+ to discuss current issues, explore the challenges of the senior stage of life, and to enhance spirituality. Guest speakers discuss subjects related to the interests of the membership. This group actively supports parishioners in the military, especially those in harm’s way. Top of the Hill Gang meets on the third Tuesday of the month in Room 6 of the Pastoral Center to share fellowship and to pray for our world, our country, our Church, and our military.
