Friendly Shoppers assist parishioners who are homebound and in need of help to restock their pantries and refrigerators. Men and women are welcome to volunteer on a weekly or biweekly basis to perform Corporal Works of Mercy and make some wonderful new friends in the process. People who like people and who are looking for a way to make the end result of supermarket shopping as nourishing for the soul as it is for the body are urged to join. No special training is required, just some time and an open heart.
