[email protected]The Men of Saint James seeks to help men balance their busy lives with God as their center. As we immerse ourselves in the daily demands of career and family life, we seek to tether ourselves to the Truth. Our goal is to become better husbands, fathers, sons, leaders, workers, and parishioners through prayer, sharing and support. They welcome men from age 13 to 99!
The group sponsors three types of enrichment opportunities:Men's Quarterly Gatherings: Held quarterly on Friday nights in our chapel basement from 7 p.m. until 10 p.m. The evening includes dinner, fellowship, music, and inspiring speakers. There is no cost to attend, just benefits! One of our brothers recently observed, “These are regular guys, the kind you would play football with!”
Cornerstone Retreats: Cornerstone is a 26-hour retreat which provides you with the opportunity to experience a sharing of faith and spiritual growth through personal talks, group sharing, prayer and the Sacrament of Reconciliation. The retreat is facilitated by parishioners who have enjoyed the fruit of past Cornerstone retreats. The weekend also allows time for personal reflection and prayer as well as one-on-one interaction.
New Wineskins: "Nor do people put new wine into old wineskins; otherwise the wineskins burst, and the wine pours out and the wineskins are ruined; but they put new wine into fresh wineskins, and both are preserved.” Matt 9:17
Over a meal at a local restaurant, we recharge together as men of faith, physically, emotionally and spiritually. -
